The hotel is beautiful and very clean, though
The staff were very responsive when we reported it. The location is perfect for exploring, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great.

Early check-in, marvellous and beautiful location just off the Spanish Steps, the very best shops and many restaurants as well as a pedestrian street. Very comfy bed, marble bathroom and its own balcony and a lounge area in the room.

location: the hotel was close enough to the very best shops, a beautiful palace and the cafe romano which is the hotels' restaurant, where the food and service were excellent. cafe giolitti located 1 km away was a nice surprise. the bathroom was good size and the room itself fantastic and absolutely gorgeous.

What's great and what's not
Fantastic location in the designer district, steps away from major boutiques! The breakfast was good, with a variety of tasty options served in a charming atmosphere.
Room decor felt outdated and cramped, missing the luxury expected for the price. The air conditioning struggled.

I've stayed at Hotel d'Inghilterra for 4 nights, the Hotel is old and the rooms varies in size some are really small But this is normal in Rome. The Hotel is situated in a perfect location very close to the most important shopping areas and the spanish steps, and few minutes away from piazza Navona and Fountain Tervi. Very freindly staff.
The furniture is old and the rate of the Hotel is expensive comparing to the size of the room.

The location of the hotel is ideal : 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps, but still quiet. The fifth floor has beautiful balconies with table and chairs, all in flowers. Room cleaning, towels, bathrobes, slippers, internet, bathroom accessories - perfect. very friendly staff - solve all problems. Book a table at a restaurant in the city, organize transfer - everything is done at once and at its best. Airport transfers are 2 times more expensive than taxis (taxi 49 euros, transfer -89 euros), but it is worth it - a good car and a very intelligent driver. The hotel is in classic style, the interior is very elegant, not old . Breakfasts are wonderful - fruits and juices are fresh, lots of cheeses, vegetables, hot in the necessary for breakfast assortment (omelette, bacon, eggs, sausages), delicious coffee and buns - everything is on a very good level. There are beautiful shops around, right next to Brunello Cuchinelli and Celine.
On the fifth floor is a very small bathroom, there is no bath, shower is very small, two of them are not very comfortable, tolerant. as explained to us in the hotel - it's because the large balconies - terraces, they take up a lot of space from the size of the room. it's true. you want a nice balcony, where you can drink juice in the morning and look at Rome, a big bath. We chose a balcony terrace. room itself is also very small.

Recommend for a holiday
Elegant room, delicious breakfast, with our beautifully renovated room with a marble bathroom and the superb veranda overlooking the Roman rooftops that was perfect for enjoying our morning meal.
Could not be improved in any way.

4th floor is very nice, English style corridor very cozy and refined. rooms are a bit small but like many hotels in Europe. design and fabrics are well cared for. beds are incredible, best rest assured! shower is of good pressure and everything is very comfortable. Let the hotel know if you have any physical limitations that require other access to the shower because it is a little different from conventional ones. It is worth contemplating breakfast in the reservation. dinner at the restaurant is very tasty! Nothing to envy other places. On the way back you will find Nino which is highly recommended. hotel is perfectly located, comfortable and very pleasant!
shower was all wet when it was over and tap was very hard. Having a little more space for the suitcase would eliminate any leftover lamps on the desk. All details easy to fix.

Location was the only thing. Not worth it.
Terrible. Horrible. Expensive experience. They had heavy construction on the second floor and gave us a room on the first floor right beneath the rooms being constructed. both days we were woken at 8am with hammering sounds on 3 walls and the ceiling. We were never informed before-hand and our complaint was not taken seriously by manager. The food bill for 1 dinner 2 breaksfasts was 652 Euros!! We could not figure out how it was possible! Terrible terrible experience. Not worth the good location at all. There were tons of other hotels in the neighborhood.

We had a lovely stay where the rooms were beautifully renovated and very clean. breakfast wasn't as varied as we remembered, but still quite good, and we appreciated being upgraded upon check-in!

second day the ants started in the room. They crawled into bed on the bed and walls. There were hundreds of them. I was up all night. third day they gave us another room, we agreed, in the end the air conditioning system wasn't working properly - the room wasn't cooled. We brought an additional air conditioner on wheels (probably, it was the norm as we already knew about the problem), opened the door to a noisy street and air the hot room through a hose. Correspondingly with open doors and noise, considering that the door was open it did not help. On the same day, another room was given. air conditioning turned out to be decent. At the check out they cheated for one breakfast (more than 70 euros, 4 breakfasts for 4 days were prepaid) 5 breakfasts were simply duplicated. They also asked to deduct the minibar from the bill - 2 bottles of water were also deducted for 12 euros. (I remember them exactly - the minibar was taken only on the first day). still have not made a refund from blocking the first amount on the card It is 1460 euros from July 12. That's about the small luxury hotel.
